Usually I see many times that people are interested in the percentage of gain and not take in consideration the drawdown of the investment.
To tell you in simple words, the drawdown can give you an idea of the risk of a strategy, for instance if your fund show you a drawdown of 50% it means that the fund can lose the 50% of the capital.
If you have 100.000$ to invest will you accept to risk 50.000$ ?
