Personally I invest around 95% of my funds in my Conservative Managed accounts.
Anyway I admit that I put a 5% in aggressive accounts.
Aggressive accounts are a bit risky so I reserve a so small percentage because I really hate lose money.
A tipycal case that take me to invest money in a more risky way is when I already made a good profit in my accounts. That win money for me are as a gift, I do not perceive them as "my hard earned money" and so for that reason I'm just less worried to lose them in case my aggressive account take a loss.
So we come back to the point of our psychology: We do not perceive the things as we were robot, 10.000$ are 10.000$ but why I can put in a big risk that amount of money?
Because if that money are a "gift" from my conservative managed accounts, I can afford a loss without suffer to much, in a way very different that if they are my savings or my "Hard Earned Money"!
ALLOCATION OF MY FUNDS: I HAVE ONLY 2 KINDS:
CONSERVATIVE AND AGGRESSIVE.
